New England is blessed with many years of all the beautiful beaches to visit. These are miles of white sand beaches to walk, sheltered beaches and trails to explore and even hundreds of miles away from the sea. Here is my selection of the best ...
HAMMONASSET Beach State Park, Connecticut:
Connecticut's largest coastal park offers miles of beach to swim, walk along the promenade, or simply a strongFall migration. In season the Meigs Point Nature Center offers programs and activities for park visitors. The beach can be found Madison area off Route 95 Exit 62 in.
Odiorne Point State Park, New Hampshire:
This 300-acre undeveloped shore up 18 miles, New Hampshire short coastline is a world away from the beaches of energy high in Hampton. Visit the patchwork of trails and bike paths and the coastline Science Center Tour Odiorne Point was the site of the firstsettlement of the colony in the region and is located 3 miles south of Portsmouth on Route 1A in Rye away.
Ogunquit Beach, Maine:
Ogunquit Beach is located three miles from a beautiful white sandy beach in a popular village and Maine's most picturesque and famous coastal Route 1 To make the car more insulation from the center of the city of Footbridge Beach, or walk the Marginal Way footpath sample of the color white sand Caribbean region.
CAPECod National Seashore, Massachusetts:
The Cape Cod National Seashore, in my opinion has the best beaches on the east coast, with beautiful white sand and miles of beach for walking and easy access to hiking trails. Nauset Beach in New Orleans is one of my favorites - the beach is signposted from the town center on Route 6A. But breathtaking Point are part of the lawn on the beach in Truro and Race lands of the province. And there are aHeaps of beaches with lighthouses along the sixth in the summer, the beaches of Cape Cod Bay side of the family tend to be better than the warmer water and less under-tow.
Crane Beach, Massachusetts:
Crane Beach is also an area managed for wildlife and the dunes and superb white sand beach with over 5 miles of trails and 1,200 acres of recreation and nature conservation. This is just to fall asleep is not a beach to take some 'time, listening to thewaves to detect, but also a habitat in which job security first. Although the seasonal parking fee is expensive, Ocean Beach is my favorite in the Boston area. Crane Beach is located on Clay Road in Ipswich on the North Shore of Boston.
NAPATREE POINT, Rhode Island:
Watch Hill is a perfectly preserved Victorian seaside resort from the crowded beaches, Misquamicut. The city has a store search, a picturesque lighthouse, and a vintage carousel ride.Entry into the invigorating walk on the carousel Napatree Point, and guide you through the dunes, panoramic views and an old fort. You can explore the city on Route 1A south extent of Westerly.
Button Bay State Park, Vermont:
Hundreds of miles from any sea and is bordered to the north of New York and Vermont and Lake Champlain. Conservation awareness Vermont has 60 state parks, and Button Bay is a beauty. The park can be found from Route 22A to Vergennes ferric Burgh.Remove your shoes for this walk and walk along the cliffs on the Start button, point to enjoy the view of the island and distant Adirondacks.
No trip to New England is complete without taking the time to enjoy the beaches at least one of these wonderfully.
